Affordable & Trendy Accessories for Less!

In early 2011 studs started showing up pretty much everywhere on the fashion runways in Paris, New York & London. Clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewelry are all still decked out in this edgy yet unconventional bauble as we approach Spring 2012. No matter your personal style, studs are a must-have in any wardrobe. When it comes to jewellery in general, they can make a big difference to any outfit. Whether it is a custom name necklace and hooped earrings, to a couple of rings, then no outfit is complete without a few accessories.

I personally think they’re an effortless accessory to add a bit of “edge” to any outfit. Any piece of jewellery is bound to improve an outfit no matter where it’s from. If you’re looking for some new, good quality jewellery, why not check out this Jacobs The Jeweller link for more info.

I found the studded bracelet and studded knuckle ring in the photo below at Forever 21 for $5-$10 each. A far cry from the likes of Givenchy’s and Rebecca Minkoff bracelets I’ve seen for 20-30x more. Also pictured below is a great chain necklace that will help add flair to a simple/basic tee or dressy top this season.

Another accessory trend I’ve been loving lately are Egyptian pyramid bracelets. Stella McCartney’s gold plated vintage “pyramid” cuff below inspired the purchase of the silver one I found at H&M below for only $12.95. I also picked up a gold/cream mini version for the same price.

Stella McCartney Cuff that sells for $825 US.

Bib Necklaces are also huge this year, and although the name may sound amusing, these layered, chunky and often elegant pieces are anything but funny. The key to wearing these is to pair them with a simple neckline. I am not a real big fan of splurging on trendy pieces like these and would rather opt for thrift finds or a cheaper alternative.
