Essie Bridal Collection 2013: Photos, Details & Swatches

Every year when Essie releases their Bridal Collection, I’m always eager to see which soft, sheer or classic shades inspire that eventful walk down the aisle. When you think of weddings, whether as the bride or bridesmaid, nudes/pinks, are typical/standard choices for the big day. These colours, along with the French/American manicure have historically been the safer choice. For the last few years however, Essie has been thinking outside the box and I couldn’t be more thrilled. This year’s Essie Bridal (available in stores now) collection offers some amazing alternatives.

The four new shades are all floral shades with a playful attitude and a touch of shimmer, none of which are the least bit traditional. These shades all have a very romantic feel to them, but also have a modern twist. Whether associated with weddings or not, each of these polishes is perfect for Spring/Summer and great for those of you who aren’t quite ready for the neon or bright trend we are also seeing this season.
