Holiday Gift Series: Lise Watier Jardin de Givre Winter 2013 Collection

Now is about the time of year that I start getting into the Holiday spirit. Halloween is long gone (and so is all the candy!), the temperatures outside are rapidly dropping and retail stores and their display windows are filling up with festive product and decor! This year, I thought I’d do something a little different and feature a Holiday Gift Series on MomsMakeupStash. The majority of posts from now until the Holidays, (with the exception of reviews) will focus on beauty, fashion and other gift suggestions for that girly girl or beauty lover on your shopping list.

I’ll be kicking off the series with the lovely Lise Watier Jardin de Givre Winter Collection out in stores now. The 12-piece collection features shimmering white packaging that is all decked out in feathers. It reminds me of a Winter wonderland…so pretty! This collection has everything you need to pull off a sophisticated and timeless beauty look at home.

Lise Watier Jardin de Givre Collection – Winter 2013

The gem of the collection in my humble opinion is the Palette Jardin de Givre, which includes seven shimmering eye shadows and a silky black cream eyeliner. Each of the magnificent eye shadow shades resemble the colour of gemstones and would compliment any eye shade. The outside of the palette itself is gorgeous…picture a frosty-white box etched in sparkling opalescent peacock feathers!

For the girl who loves to shine (in a good way!) the Jardin de Givre Illuminating Powder is a great option. The iridescent powder, which is delicately embossed with a peacock feather motif, provides the nicest luminous glow effect on the skin. This product can be applied to the face or dusted on the décolleté.

The Lise Watier Smokey Kohl Velour pencils have always been a popular choice with their pigment-rich/velvety smooth formula and smudging tip. I love that these pencils are waterproof and provide a matte finish.  Available in Noir Velours, Brun Velours and Violet Velours. Also available is the Clin D’Oeil False Eyelashes. I haven’t tried these yet but will definitely be putting them to good use over the Holidays!

Wearing red polish during the Fall/Winter season is about as common as eating popcorn at the movies. However, I prefer rich, creamy colours like the blue below to jazz up my Holiday wardrobe. If you haven’t tried a Lise Watier Nail Lacquer, honestly, what are you waiting for? The formula is outstanding and they come with a light-up cap and high-precision brush. A must-have for all those nail lovers on your list!

This Rouge Sublime Lumière lipstick boasts a creamy, rich texture and now comes with a practical light and tiny built-in mirror. While this colour wouldn’t be my personal choice, I do appreciate how moisturizing it is and love the packaging!

The Jardin de Givre collection also includes a Lip Lacquer ($22 CDN) that comes in a gorgeous and spunky rose shade as well as scented beads ($42 CDN) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the legendary Neiges fragrance.
