A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I was taking part in the “she who hunts finds” blogger challenge sponsored by Dixie Outlet Mall. Ten bloggers were given $200 each to spice up their Spring wardrobe by shopping for a head to toe outfit while staying in budget and saving as much as possible. Well, beauties, it’s finally time for the big reveal! I actually managed to get 2 full outfits with the gift card!! If you read my last post, you may remember that I was on the look out for something casual… maybe a dress or some cozy jeans… and of course some cute summer wedges.
I started my shopping at one of my favourite stores – Winners. I always find #fabfinds there and this time was no exception. I immediately spotted this pair of cropped white Max jeans. You can’t really tell by the picture but they are mildly distressed which is exactly what I was looking for and they were only $29.99! I paired them with a flowy tank and kimono, both from the Boathouse Outlet. Combined, the 2 tops only cost me $20….insane right? I then headed over to Guess and picked up a pair of neutral wedges which could easily go with any outfit this Spring. While at Nine West Studio looking for shoes, I spotted a cute clutch that I ultimately went back for and I also scored an adorable pair of sunnies at Aldo for only $1.50! Guys, I’m not kidding. The sales were incredible.. #DixieDeals were everywhere!
Because I had so much money leftover on the card, I headed to Urban Planet and picked up their version of the Birkenstocks Gizeh sandal and also grabbed a bandana dress that I was eye balling while at Winners. Even after all that I still had about $20 left over so I picked up a statement bracelet and called it a day! I’m still amazed at how far I was able to stretch the $200.
