CHANEL Libre Synthetic de Chanel Collection 2016

Today I’m back with another collection by luxury brand Chanel. Libre Synthetic de Chanel 2016 takes its inspiration from urban architecture and combines structure and a contrasting palette of textures, colours and lights. I’m not entirely sure if this is another Fall launch (info & swatches of their Fall collection can be found here: Le Rouge Fall 2016) or if this is their Holiday Collection? If anyone happens to know, please leave me a comment below. If it is their Holiday launch, bravo to Chanel for coming up with something that isn’t red, gold and glittery all over. Don’t get me wrong, I love red and gold, but it does get a wee bit boring when brands launch the same shades over and over again during the Holidays. This new collection has an “out of this world”, galactic feel to it and is the total opposite of what you’d expect this time of year.
Sheer meets intense. Matte and glossy collide. Striking contrasts of colours, textures, intensities and light capture a contemporary edge and thrilling moment in time.
First up is Chanel’s Les 5 Ombres de Chanel Eyeshadow Palette in Architectonic ($70 CAD). The palette gives structure to the eyes via a quint of matte and satin shades including: midnight blue, charcoal grey, mirror-like silver, dark grey & light grey. The colours combine to create a sultry smokey eye which would look great on blue or brown-eyed babes!

The Joues Contraste in Hyperfresh ($53 CAD) is a beautiful, bold pink blush that imparts a healthy glow on the cheeks! Look as though you spent time outdoors getting a natural Winter flush while really you’ve been cozying up indoors with a glass of wine, blanket and good book.

I absolutely love dark intense gel liners that stay put! Calligraphie de Chanel Longwear Intense Cream Eyeliner in Hyperblack ($40 CAD) is exactly that! The richly pigmented cream eye liner accentuates the eyes with a bold, matte, long-wearing formula.

Chanel’s Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colours ($32 CAD) in #542 Pink Rubber (velvety matte candy pink), #544 Hyperrose Glass (high-shine translucent barbie pink) and #540 Liquid Mirror (metallic silver) offers 3 different finishes: a matte, a gloss and a metallic – something for everyone!

And finally, for lips, we have Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colours ($43 CAD) in #247 UltraRose (orange coral pink) and #257 UltraBerry (brick pink) and Rouge Allure Gloss Colour and Shine Lipgloss ($43 CAD) in #137 Super Nude (pale pinky beige) and #157 Super Coral (coral).
