Out & About: The One of a Kind Craft Show, Loreal Warehouse Sale, Designer Shoe Sale, and Nike Outlet this Long Weekend in Toronto

Over the last couple of days, I’ve been taking advantage of some really great shopping opportunities here in Toronto, including sales at Petite Feet Designer Shoe, Nike Warehouse, L’Oreal Warehouse and the One of a Kind Craft Spring Show downtown.

Both the Petite Feet and Nike sales are happening right now at the International Centre on Airport Road and run until March 31, 2013. The shoe sale features brands like Sam Edelman (my fav!), Jessica Simpson, Vince Camuto, Via Spiga, BCBG and many more. I’ve been attending this twice/year sale for over 7 years! If you are lucky enough to wear a size 6, you get about 60% more shoe selection, since that happens to be their sample size but there are women shoes in sizes 5.5-11 available. This year, they also have men’s shoes and handbags. Instead of shoes this year, take a look at the amazing handbag I found!

The Nike Sale also at the International Centre is your typical scavenger sale. If you are patient and like a good deal, there are some great finds, but if you hate crowds and/or looking through piles of clothes, this one is not for you. I only ended up picking up a few things for my son. Nothing too exciting, just a pair of track pants and a dri-fit t-shirt in neon yellow (my current obsession). Both items totalled $18, which I thought was a great deal! The sale has everything from ball caps, to women’s, men’s and kids clothing, winter jackets, jerseys and shoes. The shoes are not even worth looking at (they look like they transported them in from the 90s haha) but there were some great deals on workout gear if you need anything. There is definitely a better selection for men this year and a huge selection of size Medium for both sexes.

The L’Oreal Warehouse Sale has also been running for the past several weeks. For this sale you need an invitation and I was lucky enough to get one from my friend and fellow blogger Rica from The Office Chic. My sister and I went to the sale today (ends tomorrow) and there was a long lineup to get inside. It was a bit crowded and lots of things has sold out weeks ago, but there were still some fabulous deals on Biotherm, Vichy, Lancome, Essie, Maybelline, L’Oreal, Garnier, fragrances, hair colour and skincare. Here is my haul:

The One of a Kind Craft Show kicked off last Wednesday at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place and runs until March 31st. If you don’t get a chance to attend the Spring show this weekend, it’s back again for the Christmas Show/Sale from November 28-December 8th later this year. If you won’t get a chance to attend either due to a busy schedule or not being located in Canada but still want some accessories, designer or not, there’s plenty of other alternatives you can take. For example, there are plenty of fake designer brands that you can find reviewed online, like Mau-fashion’s fake Louis Vuitton wallet, Gucci belts, or Chanel handbags. If you’re looking for high-street brand deals, keep your eyes peeled in your local areas and online. There’s always a sale going on somewhere! I love checking out all the homegrown and “Made in Canada” exhibitors. My absolute favourite Canadian brand at the show is Lovefresh, which I’ve featured on this site before. They are truly an amazing and luxurious bath company and everyone needs to get their hands on at least one of their products!! If you happen to go, tell the lovely owner Stacy that I sent you.
