Last Friday night, I had the privilege of attending L’Oreal Paris’ Red Carpet Style Stars event in downtown Toronto. It was held at the exquisite Panorama Lounge on the 51st floor of the Manulife Building on Bloor Street. Check out this view!!!

I had the opportunity to attend this invitation-only cocktail party where all of L’Oreal Paris’ newest products were showcased. I spent the night testing out the products that were conveniently set up around the room and learn more about how A-List celebs get their red carpet looks.

L’Oreal & their PR team are such class acts. They treated us to chic appetizers, sushi and of course wine! While indulging in the food and makeup, Eric Del Monaco (official hair/colour expert for L’Oreal Canada) and Johnny Lavoy (consulting hair expert for L’Oreal Paris USA who just happens to also be on Project Runway!!!!!) talked about Fall 2012 hair trends and discussed how to achieve these looks using L’Oreal hair care products. It was such a honour to listen to these pros dish their secrets….I mean they’ve worked with celebrities like Lady Gaga, Freida Pinto & Cindy Crawford and at fashion shows for Christian Dior, Michael Kors and Gucci so they definitely know their stuff. I also got to catch up with fellow beauty bloggers and of course one of my favourite guys…..Eddie Malter, talented makeup artist for L’Oreal.

If all that wasn’t enough, L’Oreal treated us to a very generous swap bag. I am really looking forward to testing out some of these products and should have reviews and thoughts on them up soon.
