Review: Burt’s Bees Hand Salve

The Burt’s Bees Hand Salve is an intensive hand treatment packed with botanical oils, herbs and beeswax. It moisturizes hard working, rough, dry hands and has been coined by some as the “everyday miracle”.

Hand Salve is 100% natural and wonderful for people that have extremely dry hands. If you spend a great deal of time outdoors or wash your hands frequently, dry skin is inevitable, and some people are just born with it. Most people find that regular hand lotions are not moisturizing enough, especially if their skin is very dry. If you have moderately dry skin or your skin is normal you may prefer hand lotions or creams instead.

This product has a strong scent that I don’t mind at all. It smells a little like citrus and eucalyptus.  It has a waxy consistency which resembles a lip balm texture. A little really goes a long way! I also apply this to my cuticles while massaging it into my hands.  My hands feel a lot softer after using this. Hand Salve does a great job of locking in essential moisture and keeping hands and cuticles soft and subtle. It may be too strongly scented or “greasy” for some people, but these are individual preferences.
