April 2013: My Vichy 30 Day Skincare Challenge

Last month I visited the Vichy Health Centre at the Toronto Eaton Centre where I received a personalized skin analysis complete with product recommendations that suited my individual skin care needs. To give those recommended products my complete attention, I’ll be dedicating the entire month of April to testing out this new routine. The goal of this 30-day challenge is to determine whether I notice any improvements with my skin and also to provide you with product reviews and skin care information along the way.

So here’s the plan. I’ll be using Vichy products every morning and every night for the entire month of April. I will be incorporating their cleanser, exfoliant, toner, moisturizer, eye cream, makeup remover and night cream into my daily routine. Then each week I’ll highlight one or two of the products I’ve been using and provide my thoughts on how I feel it’s working/not working. And the end of the challenge, I’ll provide my honest and respectful opinion, as always. Nothing irritates me more than seeing reviews of products that were merely swatched or tried a few times, especially when it comes to skincare products. It really is crucial to give them the time to work that they deserve. I think we all have something about our skin that we’d like to change. Whether it’s acne, redness, dryness, age, hyper-pigmentation or sun damage, it wouldn’t hurt to learn a few things about what we are doing/not doing to properly care for our skin. I really hope you find this series helpful and decide to join me for the adventure.
