DS Laboratories REVITA High-Performance Hair-Stimulating Shampoo & Conditioner

Who doesn’t want fuller, healthier, shinier hair? I’ll admit that I have pretty healthy hair at the moment. It is strong, grows quickly and also has a nice healthy shine to it. But it hasn’t always been like this. Pregnancy, hormonal changes, stress and even illness has affected my hair in negative ways. And so, over the years, my hair has been no stranger to slow growth, breakage, thinning and dullness. I credit healthy eating, lots of water, regular hair maintenance and some really good products to the way my hair looks today.

One of the most effective shampoo and conditioner duos that I’ve tried and that I can guarantee has made a remarkable difference in the condition of my hair is Revita and Revita COR by DS Laboratories. This combination is more than just a cleansing shampoo & conditioner and has become my secret weapon to improving the actual “health” of my hair.

Revita High-Performance Hair-Stimulating Shampoo by DS Labs ($31 CDN)

“Revita shampoo maintains the vitality of your scalp with a combination of anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antioxidant and anti-DHT agents that act together against follicular dysfunction.” “It prevents dry irritated scalp and hair shedding or thinning due to follicular attack.”

The Revita shampoo contains several active ingredients that hydrate, feed and stimulate hair follicles. One of it’s ingredients is the recently discovered hair-stimulating compound procyanidin B-2, which promotes hair rejuvenation. For more information on Revita’s active ingredients as well as all of the scientific explanations, just check out their website. The shampoo does an amazing job of gently cleansing my hair. My hair also feels soft and smells great but more importantly, this product works underneath the surface to help strengthen, nourish and stimulate my hair follicles.

The Revita COR conditioner “contains high-performance ingredients that penetrate deeper and persist longer because they’ve become encapsulated with hydrophobic, bio-adhesive, cationically charged micro-spheres. The spheres deliver maximum hair-growth benefits even while swimming or sweating”

The Revita COR conditioner also contains powerful ingredients proven to stimulate hair growth. It apparently continues working 12 hours after it has been rinsed off and is meant to be used in conjunction with the shampoo. I really like the way my hair feels after using this duo. After rinsing out the conditioner, I noticed less tangling and more fullness and shine to my hair. Overall, I would highly recommend this pairing for anyone struggling with hair issues of any kind.
