Sally Hershberger & beautyBoutique by Shoppers Drug Mart Partner for the 4th Annual Toronto International Film Festival Suite

Last Saturday while in the city for TIFF events and a movie screening, I popped into the beauty boutique by Shoppers Drug Mart/Sally Hershberger Suite on Queen Street West. The suite graciously provided beauty services to Canadian editors and television personalities as they prepared for local events, parties and appearances.

Having worked at a Shoppers Drug Mart beauty counter for over 10 years, I can honestly say that “Shoppers” is committed to giving customers the best beauty experience in retail. They recently opened up their largest beautyBOUTIQUE™ at the Toronto Eaton Centre which offers prestige brands of cosmetics, skincare and fragrances.

I had a wonderful time at the suite. Sally Hershberger stylists were on hand offering blowouts, hair touch ups and styling tips. Paul (a stylist from the Sally Hershberger Salon in LA) glammed up my hair by adding beautiful, loose curls. A Stila makeup artist also touched up my makeup, which included a false lash application. Ceramic Glaze also provided mini manicures and St. Tropez made sure everyone with an appointment glowed with a skin-finishing treatment.

Sally Hershberger is a world-renowned hairstylist whose hair care line offers women the “tools to recreate hair styles”.

Stila’s innovative and fashion-forward colours make it easy to create red carpet beauty looks. This season’s hottest look is “polished, healthy skin with a bold lip and a defined brow”

False lashes at the suite were applied using DUO Adhesive (the #1 selling eyelash adhesive brand in the world) I loved learning how to perfectly apply lashes for a natural look.

With trendy, long-wearing shades, Ceramic Glaze (from the makers of China Glaze and exclusive to SDM) has recently generated a lot of buzz. I’ve been personally loving Exotic Dragon Fruit, a punchy neon pink which dries to a matte-finish.

St. Tropez is one of my go-to brands for a sunless tan year round. If you haven’t tried them out yet and are looking for a rich, golden glow that lasts, the brand has you covered.

Luster White is an at home teeth whitening system that I’ll be testing out soon. Guaranteed to whiten teeth up to 6 shades (in less than 1 hour or over the weekend), Luster White Pro Light Teeth Whitening System uses the same technology as a dentist’s light treatments with 3 easy steps.
Did you attend any TIFF events and/or see any movie premieres this year?
