Mother’s Day is tomorrow and based on all of your comments on our Mother’s Day Joico Giveaway, many of you will be making/taking Mom out for brunch/dinner, while some of you plan to spend the day together doing the things that she loves. Regardless of how you spend your day tomorrow or what you wind up buying her, make sure to let your mother know just how much you love and appreciate her! Everyone appreciates a good hand cream, and L’Occitane has some of the best varieties out there. They are many options to choose from, but one thing’s for sure…they all smell fantastic! I prefer the 30ml size to toss in my purse or leave at the office/by my bedside. Give Mom the gift of youthful looking skin! I’ve been recently loving the Skin Best range from Biotherm which boasts the brand’s first instant correcting and youth-protecting concentrate. Although targeted for the early signs of aging, this skincare duo is good for any age. It’s energy-boosting formula visibly tackles signs of fatigue, irregular skin texture and fine lines. The Day Cream retails for $65 CAD and the Serum-in-Cream is $62 CAD.
Bath & Body Products
Who doesn’t love some bath time indulgence? For me, it’s one of the only times I get to unwind and de-stress after a hard day. Calgon has some great sets available that each include “a complete bath experience” for Mom. The Gift Set above ($14.99 CAD) includes a body mist, skin nourishing body cream, ultra moisturizing body wash and a shower puff and comes in 3 engaging fragrances. I really like “Spring Cherry Blossom”.… it’s such a nice fresh and floral fragrance that I’m sure any Mom will love.
Pre-Packaged Goodness
If you are looking for something already pre-packaged, look no further than The Body Shop. In addition to the Moringa Shower, Spritz & Moisture Set ($20 CAD) pictured above, there are tons of other options that take the guesswork out of what to get Mom (i.e. Lotion Set, Lip Butter Set, Shea Gift Collection). Fragrance
If you know what scent(s) your Mom enjoys, then picking her up her favourite fragrance or a new fresh scent is always a good idea. I’ve recently discovered LoveSwept ($55 CAD/60ml) by Philosophy…a vibrant and romantic fragrance that has warm, sensual notes of Bergamot, Blue Violet, Lotus Blossom, Pink Jasmine, Purple Passion Fruit, Musk, Creamy Amber & White Cedarwood. Phew! It’s a gentle, sparkling, feminine fragrance that is not overbearing and just perfect for Mom.
