As a mom of two impressionable kids and a site leader at work, I need to ensure that I always set a good example. Having a positive attitude can go a long way when interacting with others, especially since others want to be around people who resonate good energy. Shining from the inside out isn’t exactly effortless though. You need to make a conscious effort and have the right attitude. 

To shine on the outside, I make sure to take extra good care of my skin, nails and hair. I also treat myself to some good old “me time” by taking luxurious bubble baths, eating right and meditating when I can. It’s amazing how good you start to feel when you take that extra bit of time out for yourself. 

We Canadians know all too well what our Winters can do to our hair. I’ve recently introduced L‘Oreal Paris’ Nutri-Shimmer Crystal shampoo, conditioner and treatment to my bath/shower routine. They also deliver on their claims and pamper hair with shine from root to tip. The Shampoo works up a really good lather and the Conditioner does a great job of detangling my long hair without leaving it feeling weighed down. I use the Instant Miracle when my hair is feeling extra dull, lacks lustre or seems to need a little extra attention. With each of these products, my hair is visibly shiny after a blow dry – without having to use any additional products. It also looks and feels super soft! 

I try to welcome each day with a smile. Nothing positive ever comes from negative thinking, a negative attitude or having a negative self-image. Let your inner confidence shine through, accept and love who you are and be happy. Your outer self is important too, so don’t forget to pamper yourself every now and then, cause you really are worth it.
