With the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) wrapping up tomorrow, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t just “a little” envious of all of the stars in town. Their personal entourage and beauty team has had them looking their very best as they’ve jetted around town to various interviews and events while promoting their movies all week. Although we don’t have the same luxuries (i.e. personal chauffeurs, assistants, etc.) WaySpa is a great tool for those of us looking to receive “celebrity treatments” all year long and an easy way to get your glam on!

I’ve also been busy this week visiting some great #TIFF14 suites and lounges and must say, I’ve been feeling a little spoiled. It’s amazing what some good old pampering can do for the soul.
Shoppers Drug Mart
Shoppers Drug Mart
This week, the fifth annual beautyBOUTIQUE by Shoppers Drug Mart (#SDMtiffSuite) hosted beauty editors and TV/radio personalities, while showcasing some great SDM brands. Hairdresser to the stars, Sally Hershberger’s staff flew in from NYC for the event for on-the-stop hairstyling while Stila makeup artist Lyndsay Craig and her team offered pro makeup tips and application. Ceramic Glaze nail artist Charro March provided attendees with mini manicures featuring their latest collections and New York based St. Tropez skin finishing expert Sophie Evans provided A-list worthy finishing skin treatments. From Sally Hershberger, Stila, Ceramic Glaze, St. Tropez and more, “Shoppers” has you covered. One of my favourite accessory brands – Cocoa Jewelry, was also on hand with exquisite Fall accessories. Cocoa offers free shipping for orders over $100 to Canada and the USA. Definitely check them out if you like stylish and edgy jewelry.
Variety Studio
This year was the first time I got to experience the Variety Studio held at Holt Renfrew downtown. I attended the lounge as Moroccanoil’s guest and got to do some serious star gazing. While I was there, Michael Douglas, Jennifer Garner, Salma Hayek and others dropped by to do their Variety Magazine interviews and take photos. It was an experience that I’ll always remember, especially the full arm massage I received using Moroccanoil’s Intense Hydrating Treatment.

L’Oreal Paris Fibralogy Launch & Movie Screening
Earlier this week, I was introduced to the new Fibralogy haircare line by L’Oreal Paris. The launch included a special guest attendee….their gorgeous
beauty ambassador Julianne Moore! The new range is set to hit stores in January 2015 and is intended for hair that is thin/flat and lacks volume. On Thursday night, a few of us also met up with L’Oreal for the screening of Escobar: Paradise Lost starring Benicio Del Toro & Josh Hutchenson.
