Happy Sunday beauties! As some of you know, I’m not big on travel but I do like me some tropical sun every now and then. To keep me in vacation mode until my next getaway scheduled for late August, I’ve been reaching for Lise Watier’s Eden Tropical Collection for Summer 2014. It’s a beautiful assortment of “lush colours that evoke the hues of a tropical paradise”. The gorgeous packaging, high quality formulas and stunning colours of this collection make it one of my personal favourites of the season! Everything about it excites me! With Lise Watier, you can expect good quality cosmetics and on-trend colours and formulas. The packaging of this particular collection is absolutely beautiful! Both the Palette Eden Tropical Eyeshadows and the Eden Tropical Bronzing Powder come in very colourful, tropical inspired compacts. (see below) Keep reading for a look at the entire collection….

Palette Eden Tropical Eyeshadows ($43 CAD – Limited Edition)
The Tropical Eyeshadow palette features six must-have shadows ranging from pale greenish white to deep bronze. Each shade has a light shimmery finish and a creamy, yet powdery formula that glides on effortlessly. There are warm and cool tones included in the palette. Some of the “brighter” shades (i.e pink) look intimidating on their own but as you can see from the promo pic, they complement the others well and can be incorporated into various looks. This palette is multi-functional and a good option for travel and makeup application on-the-go.

Eden Tropical Bronzing Powder ($38 CAD) – Limited Edition
The Bronzing Powder in this collection is one of those products that you almost don’t want to use because it’s too pretty! It includes a peach blush in the centre and an embossed bronzing powder around the outer rim. The shades can be used individually as a blush & bronzer or swirled together to create a shimmery sun-kissed look. Although I am a fan of matte bronzers, this one has a lovely satin shimmer finish that I have been really enjoying. The shades work well on my light-medium skin but would also work on fair skinned beauties since the pigmentation is quite soft.
Blush Crème Satin ($24 CAD)- Limited Edition
Blush Crème Satin (available in 2 shades: Rose Eden & Coral Paradise) glides on smoothly over the skin to deliver a gorgeous, healthy flush. I think Lise Watier hit it out of the ballpark with this product. The cream-based blush dries to a satiny powder finish and looks very natural on the skin, despite it’s impressive pigmentation. The texture of this blush is AMAZING! I absolutely love it and plan on picking up the other shade to add to my collection.

Hydra Kiss Colour Balm ($22 CAD) – Limited Edition
These new tinted lip balms are going to be a huge success for Lise Watier… I really hope they join the permanent collection. The chubby lip crayons combine a hydrating balm, a glossy finish and excellent colour payoff. These balms are super creamy and have a light, nourishing texture that lasts! Available in 2 limited edition shades. The Hydra Kiss Colour Balms also come in retractable form so there is no pencil sharpener required!
Gourmand Velour Lipstick
Being added to the permanent collection for Summer are the new Gourmand Velours lipsticks….richly pigmented matte lipsticks. Infused with Vitamin E and Jojoba & sweet almond oils, these are smooth, creamy and moisturizing on the lips. Available in 9 new shades.

Ombrè Soufflé Supreme in Wonderland ($24 CAD)
Four new shades (Prune Astral, Tinker Bell, Sortilège & Wonderland) have been added to the permanent range of Ombrè Soufflé Supremes. These silky, light-textured eye shadows have been further enhanced with the addition of concentrated Labrador tea extract. They are great worn alone or a base for your favourite powder shadow. The texture is sponge-y but it dries to a powder finish and the colour options are beautiful!
24h Gel Liner ($25 CAD) – Limited Edition
I couldn’t wait to try out this product because I absolutely love me a good gel liner. This one is a deep jet black that applies opaque and has a creamy, easy to apply formula. I had no issues with smudging, smearing or transferring with this product but would recommend letting it set fully before applying additional eye product for best results. I hope Lise Watier comes out with additional colours of this product!

Nail Polish ($13.50 CAD) – Limited Edition
The Summer definitely looks bright! Two new shades of nail polish share the spotlight in this collection and include a bright pink (Rose Eden) and a vibrant coral (Coral Paradise). Both polishes have cream finishes and come in bottles that feature a light-up cap and high-precision brush.

As you can see, I am pretty smitten with this entire collection.
