Can we just take a moment and to look at this new mascara by L’Oreal Paris? It’s their new Voluminous Butterfly Mascara and it has a wand that sets it apart from other mascaras on the market today. The wand has a asymmetrical shape and flexible structure that gives lashes more “dramatic & fanned-out” volume. The wing-tip brush catches every lash from corner to corner and the fiber-infused formula delivers lashes with up to 6x more volume! But that’s not all…. this new mascara has “cocoon smart fibers” that are supposed to wrap around your lashes for a flutter/winged-out effect.

My lashes are about average length and tend to grow downwards naturally. I really do need a good volumizing mascara and the handy assistance of a lash curler to make them look their best. 

I was genuinely impressed with my lash result after having used this mascara. While this is not a full review, I can say that my lashes looked dramatic and “voluminous”. One application of this mascara in the morning lasted all day without any smudging or clumping whatsoever. I think multiple (3-4) coats of this product may produce some clumping so go easy with it….and let the formula work its magic by just applying a few thin coats. If you are someone that tends to prefer a drier or lighter mascara formula, this one is not that. It definitely has a wetter and heavier consistency that most formulas out there….but if you are anything like my teenage niece… who thinks the bigger and more noticeable her lashes the better, then you may just fall in love with this formula?
