At-Home Laser Hair Removal Featuring the Tria Beauty Hair Removal Laser 4X

Getting rid of unwanted hair can be a huge pain. There’s the ACTUAL pain (have you ever used an epilator?) and there’s also the pain of dealing with redness, ingrown hair, bumps and/or inflammation. Having to grow out your hair in between waxing sessions, engaging in frequent shaving rituals and spending a fortune on laser hair removal all make becoming hair-free a choreAfter years of shaving and waxing, I finally found the perfect solution.

The Tria Laser Hair Removal Laser 4X is an at-home laser device that gets rid of hair permanently, leaving you with smooth, hairless skin. I’ve recently become one of the brand’s Ambassadors and over the next 4-5 months, I’ll be testing out this product and documenting my progress along the way.

Today’s post will introduce you to the Tria Beauty Hair Removal Laser. It’s an at-home hair removal device which uses diode laser technology (preferred by dermatologists) to target and permanently disable the hair follicle. It does so by targeting the melanin at the root and without damaging the surrounding skin. Pretty impressive and very affordable considering that permanent hair removal at a clinic will cost you thousands of dollars by the time you are done. The device retails for $449 CAD at Sephora, on triabeauty.ca or The Shopping Channel.

General Information:

1) This device is NOT appropriate for everyone. It works best on men/women with light-medium skin and brown/black hair. It is not recommended for darker skin tones and won’t work on white, grey, red or blond hair. (This is the case for all laser machines) The built-in safety feature will ONLY unlock if an appropriate skin tone / hair colour is detected.

2) Suitable for use on the following areas: arms, legs, underarms, bikini line, feet, hands, chest, back, stomach, and face (women’s cheek line downward).

Features:

LED Display – An interactive LED display guides you through each treatment safely and effectively

Battery Indicator – A 30-minute battery lifespan enables you to stay focused and conscious of overlapping during treatment. A single charge is enough to treat the bikini area or both underarms at the higher energy levels, or a much bigger area at the lower energy levels.

Pulse Counter – Counts the number of “pulses” in each treatment

Treatment Level – Displays range of comfort settings (from 1-5)

Comes with a 90 day money back guarantee

Treatment Tips:

1) For optimal results: Use once every week for 3 months – until hair stops growing back. Before each treatment, be sure to shave the skin first and apply the calming gel.

2) Choose the level that is the most comfortable for you as you build up your tolerance. The higher the level, the faster the results. Try to aim for level 4 or 5 by the time you start your third or fourth session.

3) Apply a thin layer of Smooth Start Calming Gel to the area you are treating. This will help cool off the area and reduce the amount of discomfort. (if any)

4) Avoid the sun when using this device. The laser is attracted to pigment in the skin so any darkening of the skin due to sun exposure can impact it’s safety.
