Review:
I wouldn’t say that Big Easy is a foundation or that it provides full coverage but it doesn’t claim to either. On the Benefit Cosmetics website, it says it’s light-to-medium coverage but for me it’s closer to a light coverage. Big Easy has a natural finish and provides slightly more coverage than a BB would. (hence the name bigger than BB?). It’s just one of those products that makes your skin look and feel better!
The ingredients in this product add moisture to the skin but also help to control oil, making it a great choice for those of you with oily skin. I found it to be a bit drying on areas where I have no oil present (i.e. under the eyes, cheeks) but nothing significant enough to deter me from re-purchasing. I was thoroughly impressed with how easily the formula glided on and with how smooth my skin felt. No surprise here…Benefit’s complexion product’s are always among the best! Applying moisturizer beforehand improved the look and feel of this product on my skin by a mile. Because it does not contain any oil and is mattifying on the skin, applying the moisturizer helped it glide across my skin without any issues or unevenness.
The lightweight texture is great for warmer weather and especially for controlling oil on those hot & humid days. I also like that this product eliminates the need to “set” your face with a separate powder. If you are looking for a product with an SPF that helps even out your skin tone and also controls oil/shine, Big Easy is a great option. It provides a natural-looking finish, sun protection, light coverage and has mattifying properties!

Application & Swatches:
As mentioned above, I recommend applying this product to a freshly cleansed and moisturized surface. I either use my fingers to apply this product (Benefit recommends a fingertip application for an even, natural finish) or I buff it in with a dense foundation brush. You can also pat on more product wherever you want to build coverage. Either method works for me, it just depends how quickly I have to get out the door.

Final Verdict:
Big Easy makes healthy-looking skin look even better!
For skin that isn’t as perfect and is dull/sallow with slight-to moderation imperfections (i.e. large pores, uneven tone, redness, dark spots), Big Easy does a good job of concealing pigmentation concerns while brightening the complexion.
Oily skin types can rest assured that skin will be shine-free for hours but I would not recommend this if you have significant acne/blemishes that would benefit from a fuller coverage concealer/foundation.
In any case, the SPF and other ingredients provide a good amount of sun protection and defence against free radicals.
