This Holiday season, L’Occitane en Provence introduces a fabulous new fragrance called Arlésienne, inspired by the distinctly feminine silhouette of a woman from the South. The mysterious, elegant and untamed fragrance combines notes of rose from Grasse & sweet violet/saffron from Provence to create it’s unique floral fusion. In addition to the fragrance, the brand is also launching an entire line of coordinating products this month including a hand cream, shower cream, body oil, soap, beautifying powder and more, all ranging from $8.50 – $48 CAD.

Fragrance Details

To conjure up the fragrance of Arlésienne, L’occitane used the unique notes of three flowers. Each floral note fuses together to reveal unexpected facets: the fiery temperament of saffron, the grace of rose and the mystery of violet.

Fragrance Family: Floral

Top Notes: Saffron – manadrin orange

Heart/Mid Notes: Rose – lily of the valley

Base Notes: Violet – sandalwood – tonka bean

Packaging

The perfume bottle is a beautiful tinted glass engraved with flowers. The cap and spray applicator are rose gold. The fragrance’s colourful case was inspired by the lively dance of the Arlésienne.

Eau De Toilette 75 ml ($48 CAD) – I normally prefer fruity scents but I have really been enjoying this floral one! It is sexy and spicy but in a subtle way. Arlésienne is a great option for anyone looking for something classic yet modern, feminine… and not too sweet. 

Shower Cream 250 ml ($22 CAD)– The Arlésienne shower cream is perfect for a luxurious bath or shower. It is lightly scented and foams up well to clean & exhilarate the skin, while leaving it smelling fantastic.
