Procter & Gamble owns great brands like Covergirl, Pantene, Clairol, Vidal Sassoon, Olay and Herbal Essences. As a P&G Beauty Ambassador, I was recently invited to the beautiful Hair on the Avenue Salon in Toronto to #shiftashade in preparation for Fall/Winter. Luis Pacheco, salon owner and expert consulting colourist teamed up with Clairol to bring bloggers all over Canada in to his salon to have their hair colour “shifted” either one shade lighter or darker from their natural colour using Nice ‘n Easy hair dye. I had a bit of L’oreal Paris Ombre hair colour left on my ends as you can see in the before photo below, so Luis suggested the shade 3.5 Natural Darkest Brown for me. He focused on applying it all over (but only slightly onto the ends) because I wanted to retain some of my ombre. Luis mentioned that hair colour is meant to enhance what we already have and suggested that he prefers to stay within a woman’s natural colour range for the most natural looking results.
