Fragrance is one of those things that I seldom talk about on this site because I truly feel that scent is a very personal experience. Having said that however, when I find a new scent that I adore, I just have to share my excitement with you. Chance Eau Vive Eau de Toilette ($100 CAD) by Chanel is a breathtaking combination of sparkling grapefruit, juicy blood orange & citrus with elegant jasmine and white musk. With base notes of cedar and iris, Chance Eau Vive is fresh, elegant and subtlety intoxicating. I’m obsessed!

Unlike traditional Chanel fragrances that I decided years ago were just not for me, the Chanel Chance scents are young, fresh and fun. This one has been described as “a lively fragrance, radiant with energy”. In my opinion, perfumer Olivier Polge hit the perfume jackpot with this beautiful juicy floral fragrance, grounded by earthy, woody notes. 

The Chance family also includes 3 other fragrances: the original Chance Eau de Parfum, Chance Eau Fraîche & Chance Eau Tendre.
