My personal connection story is all about my husband. Like most relationships, we started off as friends but then quickly became inseparable, got married and started a family. Just over a year ago, our family went through a tough time when I was diagnosed with cancer. My husband may not have realized it then but he gave me the strength and courage to beat my illness when all I wanted to do at the time was cry. My fears and the thought of leaving my family consumed me but it was the little things he did that got me through it. He didn’t leave my side 🙂

Cheerios has launched a new campaign which celebrates the joy and happiness that personal connections bring to our lives. The “Cheerios Effect” is a real scientific principle, nicknamed after the cereal. It’s all about the fact that if you drop two Cheerios into a bowl, they’ll always eventually float together and connect. Just like those two floaty little Os, we’re all drawn together.
