This Fall, Lise Watier focuses on the eyes with their EYEvolution Collection 2015 which features both new and limited edition products that promise high impact and long-wear. The collection includes an eyeshadow palette, cream eyeshadow bases, a mascara, eye liners and even a CC primer! Let’s take a closer look.
The collection’s star product is the limited edition EYEvolution Quartet ($37 CAD) which comes in a sturdy but sleek compact with 4 crème-to-powder eyeshadows. The four shades are a combination of matte & shimmer neutrals which all work well together, easily transitioning from day to evening wear. This palette is very versatile and the shadows have a a nice, creamy, blendable texture to them. The shades offer just the right amount of pigmentation and the quality that you’d expect to see with Lise Watier.
Lise Watier’s Ombre Souffle Supreme come in a luxe, glass jars and are formulated with concentrated Labrador Tea Extract. They come in a variety of colours and offer anti-aging benefits as well as great colour payoff. These new Ombre Velours Supreme’s ($25 CAD) come with the same great formula but they have a matte, powdery finish. Regardless of which version you go with, the formula is silky, soft and lightweight. I like using my fingertips to blend these over the eye lid. These can be worn alone or as eye shadow bases. Available in 6 new matte shades. Shown in the colour “Sable” below.
Lastly, we have the Intense Waterproof Eyeliners ($22 CAD) which I believe have been reformulated to be even more pigmented than the originals? Leave me a comment if you know for sure. These ultra-creamy, water-resistant liners have great staying power and are in among the select few (non-gel/liquid) pencil liners that do not smudge on me. Available in 14 shades. Shown in “Espresso” & “Anthracite” below.
