Vichy, the skincare brand that we all know and love has released a hypoallergenic makeup range! The range claims to deliver stronger, healthier-looking skin with natural radiance via its “Liquid Light Technology” and is meant to be the final step of your morning skincare routine. Included in the collection is an illuminating foundation (in powder, cream & fluid form), concealer, highlighter and bronzer. The Vichy Teint Idéal cosmetics are infused with Vitamin C, Vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, mineral pigments and Vichy’s Mineralizing Thermal Water to improve skin health and help reveal its natural radiance!  

There are 3 formulations of the new Illuminating Foundation. The Teint Idéal Illuminating Fluid Foundation ($38 CAD/30ml) offers a light-to-medium coverage and a satiny, luminous finish. Designed for normal to combination skin types, the liquid formula claims to last 14-hours and is available in 5 shades: Ivory, Sand, Rosy Sand, Honey and Bronze.

Next up is the Teint Idéal Illuminating Cream Foundation ($38 CAD/30ml) which offers light-to-medium coverage and a soft, lightly powdered finish. Designed for normal to dry skin types, the cream formula also promises 14 hour wear and is available in the same 5 shades as the Fluid Foundation above: Ivory, Sand, Rosy Sand, Honey (shown below) and Bronze.

And lastly, the third illuminating foundation option is the Teint Idéal Illuminating Powder Foundation ($36 CAD/9.5g) which offers medium, buildable coverage that also lasts all day. The powdered formula was designed for oiler skin types to help absorb excess sebum and control shine for a mattifying effect and a velvety, peach-skin finish. The powder foundation is available in 3 shades: Light (shown below), Medium & Tan.

In addition to the three foundation options above, the Teint Idéal range also includes a Roll-On Highlighter ($27 CAD/7ml) which comes in a universal shade (Non-Coloured). As with any highlighter, this one also produces a glow on the areas of the face that naturally capture light however its silky consistency and easy application make it a true must-have in my opinion! 

The Teint Idéal Roll-On Concealer ($27 CAD/7ml) is a lightweight concealer that comes in a universal shade (Light). It covers dark circles without accentuating fine lines and also masks blemishes, hydrates the skin and helps to decongest the eye area with its cold metal tip. Once again, I love the applicator on this one! 

And finally, the Teint Idéal Bronzing Powder ($36 CAD/9.5g) comes in a universal shade (Sun Kissed Glow) and produces the most flattering and natural sun-kissed glow on any skin type or tone.  *the 2 items above were tested but not photographed in time for this review.
