I have always been a huge supporter of Annabelle Cosmetics so when I heard about Annabelle MO SISTAS for Movember, also known in the social media world as #AnnabelleMovember, I knew that I had to take part. During the month of November, Annabelle is challenging the beauty community to post a picture of themselves with a hand-drawn mustache using one of their products and post that photo onto Pinterest. A dollar will be donated for every valid picture posted!
What is Movember?
Since 2004, a charitable foundation known as Movember has been encouraging men (“Mo Bros”) to get involved in their health issues (i.e. prostate cancer, mental health) and every November, they come together by growing a mustache to show their support. This movement supports men who wish to raise awareness of their own health issues and also serves as a creative way to raise funds for research.
How can you can support this worthy cause:
1) Using your favorite Annabelle lipliner, lipstick, lipgloss or eye pencil, draw a moustache above your upper lip and snap a picture.
2) Upload the picture on your own Pinterest board. For your participation to translate into a donation, you must use the hashtag #AnnabelleMovember in the Pin description and tell us which Annabelle product was used to draw your moustache.
3) Annabelle will repin your picture onto their Pinterest Board
4) Optional: Tweet your support to @Mtl_missIPP, @AnnabelleTweets and me @makeupjunkie19 using hashtag #AnnabelleMovember, so we know that you’ve participated!
Originally I used a construction cutout before realizing that all entries had to be hand drawn directly onto the face. Here are my contributions. I had fun with this but am warning you…..I an NOT an artist. You have been warned. 🙂
