L’oreal Paris Secret Weapons For Skin: Media Event

Last Tuesday I had the pleasure of attending a private tour of the James Bond Exhibit, Designing 007, 50 Years of Bond Style at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto. After the guided tour (there were no cameras allowed in there), we headed upstairs for a special presentation of L’oreal Paris’ new “Secret Weapons” of Skincare.
The New Secret Weapons for Skin by L’oreal Paris

The exhibit featured real memorabilia, artifacts, storyboards and so much more. It is the largest and most comprehensive exhibit ever devoted to James BOND.  My favourite room was the “Casino” which featured a poker table, elegant gowns/tuxes and a 25-carat sapphire ring, among other jewels. If you are interested in this exhibit and happen to be in the Toronto area, the tour runs until January 20, 2013 and tickets are $15. Those who aren’t in the United States or fans of online casinos can try Norwegian website Casinor, which has reviews of top online casinos in Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

Eddie Malter, official makeup artist for L’oreal Paris looked dashing in his tuxedo while he presented L’oreal’s new and innovative skincare products. Daani Sarma (behind him) was also a great source of information as part of L’oreal Paris‘ Marketing team.

The two new products: Miracle Blur for women and Men Expert for men are both age-defying products. Miracle Blur is a skin smoothing finishing cream and the newest addition to the Revitalift anti-wrinkle line and works to immediately mattify your complexion, fade line lines, wrinkles and pores while moisturizing the skin to provide long-term anti-aging benefits.

Cleverly coined as the “Viagra of Skin Care”, Men Expert Vitalift Anti-Age Force Lifting & Fortifying Serum perks up skin and improves general skin tone. Deep action fortification helps skin look visibly stronger and toned. It is a water-based formula which immediately earned points with my husband!

L’oreal Paris’ PR firm really knows how to throw a party. There were martinis (shaken, not stirred), and Bond inspired treats, including Chocolate Octopussy and cute tuxedo-clad Strawberries! If that wasn’t enough, we were each able to take home and sample both products before they officially launch in drugstores next February 2013. Look for reviews on the blog soon.
