IMATS Toronto November 17-18, 2012

IMATS (the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show) is an annual event held in Vancouver, Toronto, New York, LA, London and Sydney. The event is taking place this weekend at the Toronto Congress Centre on Nov 17-18th. Anyone can attend, however industry professionals, makeup artists, product vendors and beauty enthusiasts are among those mostly in attendance.

I didn’t do much shopping this year. I picked up some bDellium and Royal & Langnickel Revolution brushes, a few polishes and headbands. I wanted to get lashes from Nigel’s Beauty Emporium however the line up was crazy and they sold out pretty fast. I was disappointed that Nyx Cosmetics wasn’t an exhibitor this year and that there was no Skindinavia Setting Spray anywhere to be found, but aside from that, I had a great time!

A few of you stopped me to say hello, which was super fun, although most people stopped to take pictures with Jess, Steph or Stacey . The student competition never disappoints and there are always great classes to attend.
