St. Tropez Skin Illuminator in Rose

For those of you who enjoy a more dewy complexion and are fond of “highlighting”, I’ve come across a light-weight illuminator that gives skin a gorgeous sheen.  Resembling ever so slightly MAC’s Strobe Cream, the Skin Illuminator by St. Tropez can be applied to your cheekbones, decolletage, arms and/or shins for an effortless and luminous glow. When I think of St. Tropez, I immediately think about their self-tanning mousse which I’m sure most of you have also heard of. However, their product range also includes gradual tanning products, self-tanning gels/lotions, tan optimizers and much more.

Skin Illuminator in Rose – On Sale Now $15.75 US (reg $22.50)

The St. Tropez skin illuminators come in 3 shades: Violet, Gold and Rose. This creamy, shimmering lotion gives skin instant luminosity. I’ve applied this to the bridge of my nose, cheeks, Cupid’s bow and brow bone. On my face, I prefer to use this as a spot-highlighter but I’ve also used this on my body all over my arms and chest and really like the highlighting effect that it provides.

If you missed my recent post on the Golden Globes, make sure to check it out here. It featured St. Tropez products and behind the scenes application tips used by celebrity stylists.

> Can be mixed together with body lotion or foundation if desired

What You May Dislike About this Product:
> Will not appeal to those of you who prefer a matte finish (cream/foundation)
> The pink-undertone (lightest of the 3 shades) may not show up as much on darker/more tanned skin
