L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil Souffle d’Or Sparkling Shampoo & Conditioner

Infused with Argan Oil & Safflower Oil, the Mythic Oil Souffle d’Or Sparkling Shampoo claims to gently cleanse away dirt, oil and impurities from the hair and scalp, while imparting a beautiful, healthy sheen. I’m not sure if you can actually see them in the photo, but this product actually has gold sparkles in it! The gold micro-particles rinse out after washing so there are no issues with any gold shimmer being left behind in your hair. The Argan Oil (also known as “Liquid Gold”) gives life to dry, lifeless hair and prevents fly-aways while the Safflower Oil helps to protect the hair while nourishing follicles and stimulating blood circulation (this promotes hair growth & thickness!). 

I’ve really been liking this combo, but particularly the shampoo. It lathers nicely, cleans well and nourishes my hair without weighing it down. Because it is silicone and paraben-free, product build-up is not an issue… it just makes my hair look shiny & feel soft and bouncy. Very seldom do you find a shampoo that does what it claims to do. This one keeps my hair looking fresh, healthy and well-nourished. It also has an incredible scent that lingers for days!! Despite loving it, I am not one to stick to just one shampoo….I like switching out my shampoos every few weeks or so. Nevertheless, I will definitely be purchasing this one again in the future.

As for conditioner, I always look for one that boasts nourishing properties and really like conditioners that leave my hair feeling soft and de-tangled prior to using any heat/styling tools. The Mythic Oil Souffle d’Or Sparkling Conditioner from L’Oreal Professional is the first transparent conditioner I’ve ever come across. It also has very fine golden shimmer infused within it but not as much as the shampoo does. Although the particles are pretty to look at, I personally don’t see the point of the shimmer, since it doesn’t really add any value to the product aside from visual appeal. The conditioner offers beautiful shine (which it definitely delivered on!) and lightweight nourishment. I like that it doesn’t have the heavy feel of other conditioners on the market but would have preferred a slightly thicker consistency. Aside from that, it performed very well and smells absolutely fantastic! 

I didn’t know this, but L’Oreal Professional’s Mythic Oil is the brands’ #1 best selling product, with one being sold every 17 seconds worldwide! I seriously need to go get my hands on some of this Oil, especially considering my good experience with the brand’s Shampoo & Conditioner.
