This razor combines everything you could ever want into one amazing razor! The moisturizing solid smells amazing and really does leave your legs feeling silky and soft. The solid, along with the 4 blades, makes shaving your legs such a quick task. It glides easily, removing hair in one stroke. No more lathering shave gel and going over your leg again and again to make sure you got every hair. I have used this razor all week on my legs and I am extremely pleased with the results. The razor has a pleasant, although strong scent and provides a close shave without any nicks. I have fairly sensitive skin and the included moisture bar did not irritate my skin at all. My skin was nicely moisturized after shaving and I probably could have gotten away with not having to apply any lotion afterwards. What I like about this razor most is how convenient it is! You do not need any shaving cream or soap and this cuts down on overall shaving time for me. My only complaint is that it can be a bit tricky getting a close shave around the ankles due to its bulky shape. I have sensitive skin and if I don’t lather enough before shaving, I will undoubtedly get nicked. Not only did the new Schick Advanced Moisture Razor provide the perfect lather before my shave, it also left my skin silky smooth afterwards. I found the razor a bit too big to really contour correctly. The biggest problem is that the blade traps hair very easily; you can try detaching the razor head and run water through the back to force the hair out but I find that this method uses up the conditioning bar. The bar lathered well,… had a nice smell and my skin was soft after using this razor. It was very easy to use and I really like the accompanying suction hanger. – Lucy (Toronto, Ontario)
The concept of the soap around the blade was unique and did provide some moisture lather. The problem with the razor I found was when I went to clean the hairs out of the blades by tapping it against the side of the sink, the blade head fell off. I received my razor when I got back from vacation and was excited to try it on my legs. I was impressed with the amount of lather and how well it moisturized. It left my legs clean shaven, feeling silky and smooth and no razor burns or cuts (yay)! My only regret was not having purchased one to take on vacation with me. I quickly noticed the beautiful scent of Shea and pink ribbons of moisturizer throughout. The razor also has a hook so you could keep it in the shower and out of children’s reach, which I loved. It came with two razor cartridges, which was an added bonus. I loved that you only need to wet the razor and that you did not need a shaving cream. I noticed the smell of the soap on the razor and it was delightful. It was light and not too overpowering. I found the soap moisturizing and the razor gave me a close shave. I loved how quick it allowed me to shave and how there wasn’t a process at all. I just had to grab the razor and go. I also loved that there was a razor holder and an extra cartridge, meaning you get more bang for your buck. I love that the Schick razor is surrounded by the built in shaving cream, which is convenient and saves me time! Usually when I use other razors, I need to apply lotion afterwards due to dryness. This was not necessary with the Schick razor with Shea butter. It moisturizes really nicely and saves me the step of applying lotion. Furthermore, the packaging of this razor is much better than their previous all plastic packaging as it is more environmentally friendly. Wow is this razor ever easy to use! The 4 blades make shaving all the hairs a breeze and I had no problem shaving tricky areas such as the armpits and knees due to the pivoting head. I love the Skin Conditioning Solid with Shea butter as I can skip my shave gel and also save time. The solid has a slight perfumery smell but it’s not overpowering. The only downside of the razor is that it is quite bulky so it wouldn’t be ideal to bring on vacation. However, I would definitely recommend to anyone who shaves and especially for people with dry skin like me. My skin felt the softest of all the other razors that I have tried. The first thing I noticed about this razor was its size. The razor is much larger than my usual razor, both in the handle and the head. Despite its larger size, this razor felt comfortable in my hands and I appreciated the rubber grips on the handle to give me greater control. The Shea butter shave bar smelt wonderful…. a fresh and clean scent. While shaving with this razor I just wet it in the shower and proceeded to shave. The shave bar lathered up and eliminated the need for a shave gel. I was leery about getting a close shave as I felt that the shave bars would prevent it. However I was quite surprised that I got such a close, comfortable shave. My legs felt soft, moisturized and were hair-free. Upon the first use, I was extremely impressed with the convenience of not having to use shave gel separately. The advanced moisture on this razor is so awesome! The Schick Intuition left my legs feeling so soft and smooth. The close shave it provided was absolutely fantastic!! It’s such a wonderful product. I would give it a 10 out of 10! The Schick razor is ergonomic, comfortable to hold and not easy to drop in the shower. It comes with a holder that you can attach to the shower wall by way of a suction cup, which safely keeps it out of children’s reach. It smells totally divine. All in all, it’s a pretty decent product. Because I have very sensitive skin, I wasn’t a huge fan of using it in the armpit area. However, when using it on my legs, it feels like you’re not even shaving. I’d be hard to nick yourself with it…it’s such a smooth shave. I have a small scar on my leg that I constantly nick when shaving, so I usually skip it and leave a couple of hairs around the area. The Schick razor ran right over it without a problem in the world! It left my legs feeling perfectly smooth and clean. I think that in summary, I’d say that while the razor didn’t work for my pits, it was ideal for my legs.
