Fall is my favourite time of year. There is nothing I enjoy more than cozying up with a pumpkin spice latte while wearing a cozy scarf and watching one of my sons’ hockey games or daughters’ dance practices. With Fall just around the corner, I thought now was as good a time as any to introduce some fun new Fall products from Broadway Nails. I’ve raved about the imPRESS Press-On Manicure ($10.99 CAD) before. I mean, what’s not to love? The trendy yet functional product has taken the beauty world by storm. Described as the salon-perfect manicure that lasts up to one week, takes minutes to apply and removes like a dream, these press-on nails are not only safe for your natural nails (no glue necessary!) but they also come in countless cool patterns/designs. For those of you wondering how the imPRESS nails actually work, take a look at the following photos and instructions…… Each imPRESS package comes with a saturated prep pad, a nail file and 24 nails in various sizes. Once you’ve selected the colour/design you like, I’d recommend checking the top left corner of the box to ensure that you are selecting your desired length since these do come in short and medium sizes. The nails also come in an adorable plastic faux nail polish bottle.
STEP 1: Using the prep pad, cleanse your natural nails to remove any oil/dirt from your nails surface. Next, measure each nail and select only the ten that fit your nail beds the closest. Put aside the others.
STEP 2: Notice the adhesive strip behind each nail. That is what secures the nail to your natural nail without having to apply any glue. Once you’re ready to apply, simply peel off the backing of one nail at a time and align the nail with your cuticle, pressing down to secure it in place.
