Take the Head to Toe Wash ($12 CAD) for example….it doubles as a shampoo and a body wash and has quickly become a bath-time staple in my household. Head to Toe gently cleanses, moisturizes and nourishes your entire body from head to toe and is gentle enough for even babies with sensitive skin, eczema or cradle cap.

The 2-in-1 Conditioner ($12 CAD) is an ultra-luxurious, lightweight conditioner that leaves hair manageable, shiny and smelling delicious. It contains hydrating plant botanicals to fight frizz, stop static and help hold in moisture. This particular product has worked wonders on my daughter’s tangly hair! Shea butter and olive oil nourish the hair while meadowfoam seed oil adds shine and ginger root stimulates the scalp. I also like using the 2-in-1 Conditioner on my own hair as a leave-in conditioning treatment or hair mask.

The 3-in-1 Hydrating Oil ($15 CAD) is another multi-functional product that contains camellia seed and avocado oils. It can be used as a face/body oil, a massage oil or as a hair oil to reduce frizz and impart shine. Another great multi-tasking option is Hickey’s personal favourite, Anything Balm ($12 CAD). Dubbed the miracle balm, this avocado oil enriched balm hydrates dry areas (i.e. cuticles, elbows, knees), treats skin irritations (i.e. diaper rash, cuts/scraps) and nourishes the skin! I use this balm on my split ends too! This is truly a remarkable product for the entire family since it has so many uses!

Formulated with coconut oil, olive oil, aloe vera and cucumber, the EveryBody Lotion ($12 CAD) is a great daily moisturizer that is gentle enough for a baby yet rich enough for Mom and Dad. It is a rich and velvety lotion that doesn’t have a greasy or heavy feel to it – the best part….. it isn’t loaded up with any synthetic fragrances. 

The 24H Face Cream ($15 CAD) uses prickly pear extract and rosehip oil to soothe and moisturize the skin. It provides anti-aging benefits for Mom & Dad and is gentle enough to use on your kids too! Leaves skin looking silky & dewy while providing intense hydration. 

I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with scrubs. I find many of them to be too abrasive while others are too “weak” to get the job done. Regular exfoliation however, is a crucial part of any good skincare regime and when it comes to the face, I prefer a more gentle exfoliation. The OURS Face & Body Exfoliator ($12 CAD) is a radiance-boosting exfoliator that can be used as 1) a scrub-off face mask, 2) a mild exfoliating cleanser or 3) an all-over body exfoliator in the shower.  Jojoba beads exfoliate, green tea extract refresh, aloe vera & cucumber soothe and cocoa & Shea butters moisturize the skin. I think that this product is a bit too gentle for body use, unless of course you are using it on small children. 

And last but certainly not least, the 3-in-1 Cleansing Oil ($15 CAD) functions as a daily cleanser, a makeup remover and/or a shaving oil! Packed with Vitamin E and coconut oil, this nourishing oil cleanses the face beautifully and works well at removing makeup too. For stubborn, waterproof eye makeup, I still prefer using the Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover or Shu Uemura Sublime Cleansing Oil but this product is great for everyday regular makeup, dirt & grime. And, this oil can also prep the skin for shaving by softening the beard so it’s great for Dad too! 

I have had a ton of fun testing out this brand and have been thoroughly impressed so far.
