Review: Saint Cosmetics (Blush & Concealer)

Hi Beauties! I recently discovered an organic, gluten-free, vegan cosmetic brand on Instagram and it happens to be Canadian. Saint Cosmetics products are all-natural & made from naturally occurring and derived ingredients from nature. None of their 144 products for the lips, eyes and face contain chemicals, artificial perfumes, parabens, sulfates, silicone, SLS, PEGs, phthalate, trilosan, mineral oil or petrolatum. The anti-oxidant cosmetic range provides high impact results using a blend of high quality natural and organic ingredients. And, if that wasn’t awesome enough, Saint Cosmetics also gives back. The brand donates 2% of their company profits to Interval House, a safe haven for abused women with children. Pretty cool eh?Saint-Cosmetics-Review

Their packaging is super cute! The designs are sleek, simple and functional (i.e. compact comes with a mirror) I was also impressed at how durable the packaging was and I loved the gold detailing…which is completely on trend!

The Saint Cosmetics concealer yields a semi-matte finish that’s perfect for hiding under eye circles, skin blemishes, redness or other imperfections. It comes in a slender tube with a wand applicator and builds and blends flawlessly. I love concealers that allow for precise, spot treatment! Comes in 12 different shades that will compliment any skin tone and retails for $24 CAD. Shown and swatched in “Stark Naked” below.

Saint Cosmetics blush is designed to worn alone or layered for extra depth. It creates a naturally flushed look on the cheeks that is super easy to blend out or build up. The pigmentation is semi-sheer (the swatch below is heavy-handed), however the texture is smooth and silky. The blush comes in a sturdy compact with an interior mirror. It does not include any unnecessary applicators which usually get tossed out. The long-lasting formula, which contains sunflower seed oil, Jojoba and rosemary leaf extract comes in 9 shades and retails for $29 CAD. Shown and swatched in “Plum-Met to Earth” below.
