mark Maui Bliss Bath, Body & Makeup Collection

Aloha! mark’s new Maui inspired collection is full of fun products to freshen up your Summer routine. The collection includes a fresh new scent and some makeup items that are sure to get you vacation-ready in no time! mark’s Summer collections always include a new, fresh fragrance and this one is no exception. Avon & mark fragrances are always hit and miss for me however Maui Bliss – a blend of coconut water, amber and exotic hibiscus is absolutely delicious! The new scent is infused into a number of mark’s body products including the new limited edition Body Butter ($14 CAD), Body Wash ($12 CAD), Body Mist ($14 – not shown) & Shimmering Moisture Gel ($16 CAD – not shown).

The Maui Bliss Body Butter is formulated with aloe, shea & cocoa butters plus coconut oil and has an ultra-rich texture that melts right into the skin. It provides all day hydration and has a lovely tropical scent. The Maui Bliss Body Wash has a gel-like consistency and is a great shower companion – ridding your body of dirt while providing moisture, smoothness and a fruity scent.

The Maui Bliss collection also features a few Summer makeup staples including a bronzing powder, some trendy nail polish shades and a portable eye shadow palette. You can’t have Summer without bronzer! Some days, I walk out of the house wearing just my moisturizer, a facial sunscreen, some bronzing powder and mascara! A good bronzer warms the skin and provides a healthy, sun-kissed glow. The Sunset Glow Face Bronzer ($16 CAD) is a medium brown matte bronzer with gold shimmery strips running through it. I wouldn’t say that it’s the most pigmented bronzer I’ve come across but there is enough pigment to add that warm “Summer glow” I was referencing. The gold shimmer is just an overlay, so expect that to dissipate after a half a dozen uses or so.

Surprisingly, my favourite part of this collection are the Nailed It Maui Bliss Trend Mini Nail Lacquers ($11 CAD).  Although small, these polishes pack quite the punch and from experience, you get about 15+ applications from each bottle. I am a huge fan of cream shades and the pastel and white trend is in full effect this year. Cloud 9 is gorgeous opaque white and Hula is a pretty lavender pastel. These high-impact, gel-like shine polishes are definietly worth a second look!

To round out the collection, the Maui Bliss Hawaii Five-Oh! Eye Shadow Compact ($18 CAD) includes 5 semi-sheer shimmery eye shadows (teal, coral, purple, champagne & gold) inspired by a lush tropical paradise. The shadows come in varying finishes (matte & satin) in a mirrored, mini compact.
