Clinique is a brand that is relatively new to me. When I was in my twenties, I used their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion and I’ve recently tried their nail lacquers for sensitive skin and their infamous Chubby Sticks. This Fall, the brand is focusing on the eyes and they have definitely gotten my attention. We all want eye colour with pop, that takes seconds to apply and that also lasts all day. All About Shadow

All About Shadow Primer for Eyes
A new primer that extends the wear of the All About Shadows from 8 to 12 hours. It claims to “significantly improve colour retention, reduce creasing and extend wear” when applied under shadows. Available in four shades compatible to all skin tones.
There are also 6 new & 2 limited edition shades of the top-selling Quickliner for Eyes Intense. The eyeliner provides non-fading, long-wearing colour with a smooth, liquid-liner-like payoff that sets for 12 hours.

First Impressions:
I have been loving the texture and consistency of the All About Shadows. They have a very luxurious, velvety feel to them and they are incredibly smooth. I really like that the duos and quads come with application guides, (see photo) which makes eye shadow placement easy and accurate. There are also plenty of colour options to choose from.
The shadow primer works well. I’m a firm believer that eye shadow applied over a primer makes a WORLD of difference and this one is a relatively good option. I like that it is available in different shades to compliment varying skin tones. As for the eyeliners, I am completely blown away! The colour payoff is incredible and they are very long-wearing. I’ll be picking up a few more colours of these for sure.
