The new Clarins Sunkissed Collection for Summer is all about achieving the perfect Summer look with just a few products. Simplicity is what this collection is all about. And that’s exactly what summer makeup should be! Effortless. The collection includes a gorgeous limited edition Bronzing Powder & Blush ($36 USD/$42 CAD), four Waterproof Eyeshadows ($22 USD/$24 CAD), new shimmer shades of their Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector ($20 USD/$25 CAD), a Mascara (not shown) and Fix’ Make Up ($27 USD/$30 CAD) – a setting spray to keep your “beach babe” look in place during the sweltering Summer heat!  

The hero product of this collection for many is the Bronzing Blush. It’s the perfect way to achieve a healthy glow and a pretty flush on the cheeks. Every year, Clarins releases a limited edition bronzer but this years amber-hued beauty is a true gem! It has three shades of powder meant to sculpt, define and/or warm the skin and an apricot blush in the centre. You can use each shade separately or swirl them together to create different looks. Two of the bronzing powders are a matte finish, while the other is a shimmer which gives you lots of versatility. The Bronzing & Blush Compact is one of those products that you never have to justify purchasing because you will get so much use out of it! 

Next up are the limited edition Clarins Waterproof Eyeshadows which are basically cream shadows that offer a sheer wash of colour and come in convenient squeeze tubes. The earth tone shades compliment sun-kissed, bronzed looks beautifully. Available in 4 colour options (Golden Peach & Golden Sand shown below), the shadows offer an illuminating, pearlescent finish. Not a fan of shimmery shadows? No worries – these can also be used as a base under your favourite matte or satin shadow for added intensity and longer wear.  

The collection also introduces new shades of the Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. Three new shimmer shades (pink shimmer shown below) join the family for a limited time. The melting gel lip treatments are infused with Shea Butter and very popular among beauty enthusiasts.

My personal favourite from the Summer round-up is the Clarins Fix’ Make-Up. Not only is the packaging stunning, but the hydrating setting mist is an absolute essential for Summer to ensure that your makeup stays put in the heat & humidity. It soothes, refreshes and keeps your look in place all day!
