Butter London Sweetie Shop Collection: Quick Review & Finger Swatches

Earlier this month, I posted a preview of Butter London’s gorgeous new Spring Collection SweetieShop. I must say, I absolutely adore this collection…it reminds me of flowers in bloom and Easter time and also features my favourite colours – pastels.  Here is a picture to remind you of the collection I’m referring to…..
Butter London SweetieShop Collection – Spring 2013
I haven’t been feeling very energetic recently, so please excuse the lazy swatch below, but I really wanted you to get an idea of how these polishes looked on the actual nails. I also wanted to provide a quick review of their application and durability.

For each polish I applied two coats of lacquer and did not use a top coat (with the exception of Fiver – a previous NOTD). While all six polishes are utterly gorgeous shades, the one I was most impressed with was Cuppa, an opaque tan that applied like a dream! I highly recommend this one. You can totally get away with applying only one coat of this and in my opinion it is the perfect nude to coordinate any outfit.

Even Jasper looked fantastic on the nails, and we all know how difficult yellows are to pull off. The two polishes I struggled with (they were a tad bit streaky and not as easy to apply as the others) happened to be the prettiest ones: Fiver & Kerfuffle. I didn’t see any chipping with these for at least five days, which is impressive.

Thumb Swatch – Moddly Coddled
Index Finger Swatch – Jasper
Middle Finger Swatch –  Kerfuffle
Ring Finger Swatch – Cuppa
Baby Finger Swatch – Fruit Machine
Swatch of Fiver
