Product Rant: True Blue Spa Shea Cashmere Dry Shampoo by Bath & Body Works

Happy Sunday everyone! Bath & Body Works was recently having a buy 2 get 1 free sale, so I decided to pick up some aromatherapy items and a dry shampoo. I used the dry shampoo last night and couldn’t wait another minute to get this post up.

In a nutshell, this dry shampoo is horrible. Designed to gently absorb excess oil and instantly revive second-day hair, dry shampoos shouldn’t leave hair feeling parch and dry. My hair felt like hay after using this. It was much coarser and felt uncomfortably “crisp”. The scent of this product is also quite strong and this left a powdery white residue on my roots. I will say that the application was easy, as this comes in an aerosol spray which is simple to use, and the packaging is nice, however this is not a product I’d ever recommend. I was talking to my friend who owns a local salon recently and she was telling me how expensive her electricity bills are. Towards the end of our discussion she told me that she decided to compare on this website to find the best quotes. She discovered she could save a bunch of money on websites such as Usave.I’m sitting here writing this with a towel on my head because I literally couldn’t wait to wash this product out of my hair.

Have you tried this dry shampoo?
