Essence Cherry Blossom Girl Collection

I picked up some new Essence products recently from the Cherry Blossom Girl collection at Shoppers Drug Mart and at a local blogger event. Essence is such a great quality brand that is really affordable. There is not one product in their permanent range that retails over $5 CDN, which I think is absolutely fantastic! I especially love their limited edition collections, but their regular line is also impressive. If you haven’t tried out this brand, what on earth are you waiting for?

With this particular collection, Essence whisks us to the far east with their newest assortment of Asian-inspired cosmetics. This collection is reminiscent of Japanese beauty and it’s color scheme includes strong reds, bright yellows, cool greys and blacks. The most talked about and unique product from this collection is the paper lashes which are definitely a trendy statement! I decided to try the shimmering body powder, the blush, a lip crayon and one of the polishes.
