I love wearing bright colours during the Summer, but for the rest of the year, I tend to choose more neutral makeup shades. This Fall, Lise Watier unveils it’s Tartantastique Collection, which is basically a reinterpretation of the tartan trend….rebellious and sophisticated. The 10-piece collection is all about elegance, confidence and simplicity with rich textures and brilliant effects. I really love the neutral focus of this collection and since I also love a great smokey eye, the collection is right up my alley. Be sure to check it out in stores soon, but in the meantime, here are some photos and swatches for your viewing pleasure…

The collection also includes two new shades of the Haute Lumiere High-Shine Lip Gloss: Spotlight & Natural. Both glosses offer a sheer, moisturizing, non-sticky, and high shine formula.
Haute Lumiere High Shine Lip Gloss in “Spotlight” ($22 CDN),
This non-sticky gloss produces sheer-to-light coverage, moisture and high shine. If you are looking for more pigment, this colour can certainly be built up as desired. It’s a tad bit thicker than your average gloss but that’s what I love about it! Comes with a convenient lid light and a mirror!

Nail Lacquer in Chic Tartan ($13, Limited Edition)
This colour is one of my favourites colours of all time! It was actually the colour I chose for my bridesmaid dresses over 10 years ago. I chose to coordinate this glamorous shade with purple/orange flowers for my Winter Wedding in 2002. The polish applicator of this lacquer features a built-in light for that perfect mani-pedi.
