My love for it Cosmetics continues! This time, it’s Bye Bye Redness™ Neutralizing Correcting Cream that is the object of my affection. This newbie to my beauty arsenal cancels out any redness that is visible on the skin. I’ve never tried a product like this one before. Unlike any other “redness correctors” that I’ve used (usually green in colour), this one is a cream formula and nude in colour. It completely erases red-toned skin discolourations from rosacea, broken capillaries, blemished or irritated skin, sun damage, age spots and scars. Designed to not only cover but also radiate skin, this wonder cream also soothes inflamed skin with it’s ultra-nourishing formula that includes colloidal oatmeal, aloe, avocado and chamomile. It is also infused with anti-aging peptides, line-smoothing hydrolyzed collagen and hyaluronic acid for extra hydration. It doesn’t get better than that! I don’t even need to wear foundation on days that I use this. The universal shade works well on my skin tone and the formula does not crease, crack or fade. I apply this to cleansed/moisturized skin in the mornings (if I’m not using foundation that day) and blend using the buffing brush below for flawless coverage. You can wear this product alone (like I do) or under your regular makeup (foundation/concealer) for full coverage that lasts all day.

The consistency of this product is a cross between a light moisturizing lotion and a light-to-medium foundation. I am not entirely sure that the “universal” shade would work for everyone but it definitely works for me. (I’m a MAC NC35 for reference) Whether you use a brush or your fingertips, Bye Bye Redness blends easily and sets to a natural, flawless, even finish. The only negative with this product is the packaging. I would have preferred to see a less cumbersome dispenser like a tube or pump applicator.
