I’ve tried the shade Houndstooth. It is very pigmented and like the others, it comes in the brand’s trademark nostalgic packaging. “Houndstooth” produces a natural, mauve flush on the cheeks and blends easily. The texture is a finely-milled powder that is smooth and “cake-free”. I love how effortless it is to apply and how this shade coordinates with any look! For best results, I recommend picking up some powder with a small dome brush, tapping off any excess and lightly sweeping it over the apples of your cheeks. Because these blushes are so saturated in colour, a little product does go a long way, so make sure to avoid applying these with a heavy hand.
The packaging of this product is also great. The powder is housed in a durable compact with a magnetic closure. I‘ve always enjoyed the Balm’s compacts. This one is no exception and also comes with a built in mirror for easy application.
