“Brows are sisters, but they’re not twins”…..this statement is SO true! My brows really differ from one other. One of them has a higher arch (which I like) and the other one is straighter and shorter in length. Brow Mapping involves determining your most optimal brow shape based on your unique facial structure. Once this has been done, filling in of the brows and/or tweezing or waxing them may be necessary. After years of getting my eyebrows threaded and dealing with sparseness and limited growth in certain areas, I was excited to talk with one of the Experts to get their take on what would work best on me. It turned out that what I needed was a clean-up (Waxing) and some fill-in using Benefit’s Instant Brow Pencil (remember the straighter brow I mentioned?) to make my eyebrows look more uniform. Benefit uses a vegetarian wax that is great on any skin type but especially good for those with sensitive or easily irritated skin. I also got a Brow Tint, which uses a extremely low peroxide to help tint sparse hair areas. The tinting usually lasts 3-4 weeks.
