Bobbi Brown’s most recent Spring Collection includes a limited edition eye shadow palette of six neutral eye shadows with varying finishes. Although I have seen comparable palettes from Bobbi before, the Nectar & Nude Eye Shadow Palette is a nice option for anyone who prefers more natural looking eye makeup. The palette includes 6 x 0.05 oz shadows and a dual-ended shadow brush. The quality of Bobbi Brown shadows is always spot on and I’ve really been enjoying the mix of matte and metallic shades in this particular palette. Each of the shadows is very ‘soft’ and the palette overall is quite sheer, however the shades all work together very well. The eye palette seems to be more “nude” than “nectar” but the combination of taupes, brown and bits of shimmer are really flattering. If you are looking for something subtle, you will absolutely adore this palette. It creates a nice everyday eye look that can be smoked out if necessary for evening wear.

Pale Cream – warm porcelain (Matte)

Soft Buff – warm nude (Matte)

Golden Bronze – light golden bronze (Metallic)

Pink Bellini – golden pale nectar (Sparkle)

Earth – medium tone brown (Matte)

Rich Caviar – rich brown/black (Matte)

The only shade that I had any “issues” with was Pink Bellini. The stunning peachy metallic bronze was difficult to apply with any brush that I tried using. I finally found a method that worked for me and now opt to apply the shade using my fingertip for best results.

Packaging: The four nudes and 2 sparkle/shimmer shades are encased in a sleek, slim & sturdy compact that has a built-in mirror. The brush it comes with is excellent quality and serves as both a shadow and a liner brush, although I use the brush to both apply and blend out colours.
