The Estée Lauder Double Wear All-Day Glow BB Moisture Makeup with SPF 30 has the same perfecting and long-wear benefits of the iconic Double Wear range and so much more! The creamy BB cream offers instant radiance, medium coverage and also has an SPF. I personally like BB creams and prefer the “western” ones over the thicker and more grey-tinged varieties that originated in Asia. Many people find the texture of American BB creams to be too lightweight and the shade selection too minimal however. This particular one comes in 8 shades and is definitely a thicker formula than you’d expect to see with a BB. It also leaves behind a beautiful dewy finish on the skin, doesn’t settle into your pores and offers longer wear time, while providing coverage more comparable to a foundation.
I like using this product on days when I don’t feel like wearing heavier foundation but still want a more even skin tone and coverage for my hyper-pigmentation areas. It feels hydrating and seems to brightens my complexion. I wasn’t getting the finish that I wanted when I tried applying this product with a foundation brush so I have just been using my fingertips or a blending sponge for better results. Since I prefer a dewy finish, I usually just add a touch of bronzer and blush and leave it at that, but sometimes, I set this BB cream with a lightweight setting powder like the Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder. The texture is quite creamy, so make sure you blend it out properly to ensure that the product goes on smoothly.
