Essie Fall 2015 Nail Polish Collection (Photos & Details)

Fall is my favourite season…the climate, the colours, the fact that I have no allergies this time of year… everything about Fall puts a smile on my face! When it comes to nail polish though, Fall Collections are an even bigger weakness for me. I absolutely love edgy shades like burgundy, navy and deep red. And it’s a known fact that any “nearly black” polish that I spot at the drugstore eventually finds its way home to me. Fall nail polishes have definitely become my favourite fashion accessory!

Essie’s latest collection for Fall 2015 is sure to make you feel like a rock star this season. With 6 compelling new shades, the collection takes its inspiration from 1970’s rock and roll. There are a few reds, a burgundy, a midnight blue, even a shimmering bronze. Let’s take a closer look:

If the tempting shades haven’t already drawn you in then perhaps knowing that talented handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff (essie’s new global colour Ambassador) helped create the trendy collection just may?

The collection is definitely easy on the eyes however it is not without its flaws. The formulas for “Color Binge”  and “In the Lobby”  are a bit runny (I really wanted to love the burgundy) but wow do the others make up for it. “With the Band” is a stunning, deep brick-red that performs incredibly well and “Frock ‘n Roll”  is as smooth as they come and so easy to apply. As for “Bell-Bottom Blues”, I love the colour intensity and how multi-faceted it is. And last but certainly not least, we have “Leggy Legend”, a gorgeous bronze with subtle red and gold undertones. This one my friends, is utterly beautiful!
