In fact, their under eye concealer Bye Bye Under Eye is a new product that I discovered this year that I would encourage anyone with stubborn under eye circles to try. After my wonderful experience experimenting with some of their best selling products, I wanted to put some of their brushes to the test. Keep reading for a review of the Heavenly Luxe™ Pointed Precision Complexion Brush and the Dual Airbrush Foundation Concealer Brush….both by it Cosmetics.

The Heavenly Luxe Pointed Precision Complexion Brush is an ultra dense, cruelty-free brush whose shape makes getting to the smaller parts of the face very precise and easy. You all know those areas I’m talking about… (the inner corners of the eyes, sides of the nose, top of the lip…..etc). The pointed tip is great for reaching those smaller areas, but the brush also works well when it is laid flat on its side and used to apply or blend cream/powder products. This is a very versatile brush. It has quickly become my go-to “highlighter brush”, although I have also used it to apply my concealer. Not only does it feel super soft and luxurious on the skin but it also doesn’t shed. I just wish it was priced a tad lower. There are so many other brushes on the market today that perform just as well at a significantly lower price point. bDellium’s Studio Brush #949 is a great example of a professional brush that is similar in functionality and only priced at around $14.

The Dual Airbrush Foundation Concealer Brush was designed with leading plastic surgeons to apply both foundation and concealer to a flawless, airbrushed finish. This brush also performs beautifully…it is ultra plush and feels fabulous on the skin. The larger end is meant for foundation and the smaller end is recommended for smaller areas or more precise needs (i.e. between the eyes, sides/bridge of the nose). I actually like using the bigger side for powders (i.e. bronzer, setting powder) and the smaller for concealer or even eye shadow. This is definitely a smart investment since it’s a high quality, brush that offers flawless precision and soft synthetic bristles. Since it has dual-functionality, I think the price for this one is completely justified…. You are basically getting 2 brushes for the price of one. I also love that this brush doesn’t shed and retains its shape after washing.
