Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil Review and Photos

As mentioned here, Urban Decay recently came out with their 24/7 Concealer PencilsIf you read my previous post, you may remember that I had high hopes for these pencils. I initially purchased ATF (medium dark golden beige) to use for my hyper-pigmentation but soon went back to pick up FBI (light medium beige) to use under my eyes.

This product applies very easily, since the pencil allows for more precision. There is no mess and no contamination. I blend the product on my skin using my fingertip and prefer this method to using a concealer brush or sponge. I find the packaging super convenient. You can easily toss these into your purse or makeup bag. The super creamy formula blends well and dries to a smudge-free matte finish. I can’t stress how impressed I was the first time I wore this and realized how long-wearing it actually was. It lasted the entire day and into the evening. So, it gets an A+ for lasting power! The only down side with any pencil requiring sharpening is that you lose a bit of product when it’s sharpened but this is a mute point if you ask me.

A product like this one has multiple uses, but I personally think it works best when worn over liquid foundation or a tinted moisturizer, then set with a powder. I’ve also tried it under mineral foundation and have used it completely on its own. It covers dark circles well and brightens the skin under the eyes, making me look more alert and awake if that makes sense. Each of the 8 colour options are super pigmented. For swatches of the entire range see Xsparkage’s post here.
