Suzi Says Feng Shui….Suzi Skis in the Pyrenes….Suzi Loves Cowboys…. Suzi says Da….Pedal Faster Suzi
Sound familiar? Any fan of OPI polish with recognizing that the Suzi referred to above is the creative genius behind the brand.
This past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to meet and have dinner with Suzi Weiss-Fischmann from OPI Products Inc.! If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you may already know how reeling in excitement I was leading up to the event and may have even seen some photos. Getting an instagram direct message or an email regarding exciting events like these are always exciting for any blogger to receive!
Suzi, the Executive Vice President and Artistic Director of OPI flew all the way from LA to join me and a dozen of other local area bloggers for this exclusive one on one event. In town also promoting Nicole by OPI‘s upcoming 2013 Spring Collection inspired by Selena Gomez and the Kardashian Kolor Holiday Collection, Suzi was every bit (if not more) as talented and business savvy as I ever envisioned her to be. It was such a humbling experience. A million thank yous to the PR firm for inviting me and to Suzi for making the trek to Canada!!

What was Suzi wearing on her nails?
Even though Suzi preferred red polishes for many years, mainly because of their Old Hollywood glam factor, she was sporting a gorgeous deep blue called “Eurso Euro” from the upcoming OPI Euro Centrale Spring Collection due out February 2013.
What will be trending for Winter and into the New Year?
Anything BLUE and we will see tons of glitter. She also said that yellows will be big, although she admitted that they are sometimes really hard to pull off.
What polish trend is on its way out the door?
“Shatter is dead” says Suzi…..but expect to see some new innovative finishes/textures in 2013
What are the best products to have on hand for a full proof manicure?
Suzi recommends carrying a top coat, OPI’s Drip Dry, cuticle oil and your favourite lacquer in a sealed baggie in your purse.
What are your favourite OPI polishes?
Among Suzi’s favourites are Up the Amazon Without a Paddle, My Chiwawa Bites and Suzi & the Lifeguard.
What sets OPI apart from other brands?
Suzi proudly said that OPI is well known for the QUALITY of their nail lacquers, their fashion forward edgy colours and of course their iconic names.
