Dior has come out with 24 new & totally fashionable shades of their well known volumizing lip gloss. Each shade of the Dior Addict Gloss “has its own fashion effect, making it beautiful and unique, addictive and as sexy as a pair of stilettos.”  The shade range is utterly gorgeous and there is plenty of variety. These luscious glosses come in three different textures or “special effects”: Shimmer (the most sparkly), Pearly (micro-fine shimmer) & Pure (high shine cream).

I’ve tried two of these glosses and despite them not being the most pigmented options out there, I did find that their unique effect left nothing to be desired. They have a gorgeous and incredible shine to them. It almost resembles a mirrored or diamond finish that looks ultra luscious on the lips. It really is beautiful! (**Mirror Shine Complex with polarized crystalline micro-spheres adjust the reflection of light to create the magic of a perfect mirror **)

What I also like about these glosses is their texture/consistency. It is very lightweight, comfortable and the least bit sticky. They glide onto the lips smooth and look very silky once on. I love glosses with high shine and these provided just that as well as shimmer and a bit of colour.  I did notice that these were a bit difficult to build so if you prefer your gloss to have more colour, you may find that these don’t provide you with enough. As I mentioned, the Dior Addict Gloss is a volumizing product, which means that it has been designed to give the appearance of fuller lips. These do provide “fullness”, however they lack the tingling sensation that other “volumizing” glosses have, which doesn’t make a difference to me.

In terms of packaging, these lip glosses come in a gorgeous square tube that is clear. The tube is sturdy and appears to be made very well. The top of the knob and one side of the body are embossed with “CD” and “Dior” respectively, which gives these a touch of elegance. The applicator is a short, dense brush as opposed to a doe-foot applicator.
